Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 30, 2026
Summary
motionpicture does not use accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. The app does not collect or transmit personal data to the developer's servers. Photos selected by the user and project data are processed on the user's device.
Photo access
The app imports only the photos that the user explicitly selects through the system photo picker or share sheet. It requests add-only Photos permission when saving a finished video. The app does not browse the user's entire photo library without their action.
On-device storage
Local photo copies, project settings, and temporary videos may be stored in the app's local storage. Projects remain on the device until the user deletes them. Projects placed in Trash may be retained for recovery for up to seven days before deletion. When the app is removed, iOS removes its local app data.
Third parties and sharing
The developer does not sell or disclose user data to third parties. If the user sends a finished video to another app or service through the iOS share sheet, the privacy policy of the service selected by the user applies.
Support requests
If the user requests support by email, the developer receives the sender's email address, display name, message, and any files the user chooses to attach. This information is used only to respond to the request and troubleshoot the issue, and is deleted when no longer needed. Email is processed through Gmail and may be subject to Google's privacy policy.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, this page and its effective date will be updated.
